READERS FEEDBACK

MEET THE AUTHOR

Dermod Sweeney was managing director of engineering and scientific consultancy businesses for more than thirty years and began investing in 1987. He has invested in funds, listed companies and start-up companies directly and through the Enterprise Investment Scheme and Venture Capital Trusts.

He navigated the stock market crashes of 2001 and 2008 successfully.

Over the years, he has used advisory stock brokers on three occasions and has been disappointed each time.  It was these experiences that prompted him to undertake his own research into the detailed operation of stock markets – which has formed the basis of this book.

He has served as a non-executive director of start-up companies.
